“Worked All Canary Islands”

El Grupo DX Gran Canaria ofrece este Diploma permanente y que puede solicitar cualquier radioaficionado o escucha que demuestre haber efectuado comunicado (escuchado) con las 7 (siete) islas canarias (El Hierro, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, La Palma, Lanzarote y Tenerife), existiendo una categoría EXTRA por demostrar haber comunicado (escuchado) al menos con otras 7 (siete) islas, islotes o roques en las que no hay radioaficionados permanentes y que figuren en el listado oficial del D.I.E. (Diploma de las Islas Españolas, http://www.ea5ol.net/die/).

Categorías: Existen 10 categorías, 5 (cinco) para el Diploma Base y otras 5 (cinco) para el Diploma Extra

BASE (SSB, CW, FM, Digital (RTTY, SSTV, BPSK31...) o mixto)

EXTRA (SSB, CW, FM, Digital (RTTY, SSTV, BPSK31...) o mixto)

Requisitos: Son válidos todos los QSOs realizados en cualquier banda y modo autorizado sin que exista restricción de fechas. Es necesario enviar al responsable del Diploma un CD con las QSLs debidamente escaneadas, la lista de los QSOs en donde figure la estación contactada (escuchada), el QTH e isla así como la banda y el modo no siendo necesarias ni la fecha ni la señal RS(T). Opcionalmente las QSLs escaneadas se pueden enviar directamente al e-mail del Grupo DX Gran Canaria ( Esta dirección de correo electrónico está protegida contra los robots de spam, necesita tener Javascript activado para poder verla ). El coste de cada Diploma es de 10 €, $15 o 7 IRCs cantidad que cubre también su envío al solicitante por correo certificado. Las solicitudes del Diploma se enviarán a: W.A.C.I. Award Manager, P.O. The “Grand Canaria DX Group” offers the “Worked All Canary Islands” (“WACI”) Award to any radio amateur or shortwave listener who provides proof of contact or reception with the Canary Islands.

The award is offered in two classes, “Basic” and “Extra”, and in five categories for mode, for ten possible awards.

The “Basic” award is for contacting or hearing the seven major Canary Islands (El Hierro, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, La Palma, Lanzarote, Tenerife).

The “Extra” class is for contacting these same seven islands, plus an additional seven islands, islets, or rocks, in which there is no permanent radio amateur population, and which appear in the official listing of the Spanish “DIE” award program (Diploma Islas Españolas, http://www.ea5ol.net/die/) These are easily identified in the “S-###” reference section with either “GC” (Gran Canaria) or “TF” (Tenerife) as the province and “AF-004” as the IOTA number.

The award in either category can be requested for the following five modes: CW, SSB, FM, Digital (RTTY, SSTV, BPSK31), or mixed modes.

Requirements: Contacts or reception reports can be from any authorized amateur radio band and mode. There are no date restrictions.

Application: Submit an application listing the award requested, the call signs of the contacts or reception reports, the name of the island and the QTH, frequency band, and mode. The date of the contact or reception report and RS(T) report are not required. Along with the application, include scans of the QSL cards. Fee: The price of each award is [Euro] 5, $15 USD, or 7 IRC’s, which includes delivery by registered mail.
